Euroaxes in cooperation with IEK ALFA held a training seminar for students on new technologies NGA (new generation access), fiber optics and FTTH (Fiber to the home).
In a 3.5-hour presentation, students were informed by Euroaxes engineers about fibre optic networks and their integration in the general context of networks serving a large number of customers. The theoretical part of the seminar included the methodology and theoretical training on how fibre optics works, the required measurements and the safety rules governing an optical network. Afterwards, all students received practical training, in laboratory form, on cutting, splicing and measuring an optical fiber with the company’s measuring instruments and tools (OTDR-SPLICER).
We thank IEK ALFA for the invitation and the initiative of training the students on a practical level. The Euroaxes Group pays particular attention to training and information issues especially for young people who are about to enter the labour market.
